This weekend, the whole Sprecher Family was treated to a weekend get-a-way with Grandma Jo in Lincoln city, Oregon!!

We went down early Friday to try and catch some crab for dinner, as Grandma Jo is famous for her crab cakes! Plus, who can beat fresh steamed crab. :) We left at 8am to Lincoln city, as we got to see the beautiful beach house that we had for the weekend. a dream come true! We were only there a matter of minutes before hitting the road again to Newport, Oregon, which is about 30 minutes away from our weekend home. Newport is a small town, but a perfect example for the Oregon Coast. Sea Otters and Sea Lions were swimming everywhere, as we even got to see some jelly fish in the fresh waters. My Dad and Brother launched the boat, as we were all excited for our crabbing adventure!
This was Wy's 1st time crabbing, so he truly got into it. He even caught some pretty starfish and sunfish!!
Althought it was a slow day, we still left with 16 crab and the Boys were to return the next early morning for more!! Wy even had to wait for them to cook in the large boiler at the dock!
After we arrived back to the beach house, we all showered up and had a great time with the whole family!! We even were able to play some fun family beer pong! :) Go Sprecher Teams!!
