Willie was the first to know exactly what was in store, as soon as he smelled the box, he was jumping up and running in circles. Never underestimate a little dog’s nose! He was so excited to receive his valentine’s treats from Grandma & Grandpa Urban. I have never seen him so excited for a chew treat, as he gobbled his first one that night!
Wayde even received a special valentines snuggly and pacifier set (which unbelievably doubles as a medicine administer, Im sure which we will LOVE come those nights of flu and cold season!). We both cannot wait until next year when we get to celebrate his first Valentine’s day with us! So many special milestones ahead.
I hope that everyone had an amazing Valentine’s day, as ours was truly special! Wyatt surprised me with flowesr and an amazingly beautiful heart necklace that has three diamonds to represent each urban man (Wyatt, Wayde and Willie!). I opened it up in tears, as I was truly touched and LOVE his valentine’s thoughtfulness. I feel as if I am the luckiest woman!
We had a wonderful date night at our favorite Deschutes Brewery downtown, and were able to spend valentines eve together in downtown Portland. True to form, we still were in bed before 10pm, even with date night! I wouldn’t have it any other way.
I attempted to make valentines Sugar cookies for Wy, which was a floury disaster! That is the last time that I automatically follow allrecipie.com’s “best cookie” rating. But Wy grinned and bared the taste-less cookies out of the goodness of his heart!
